Application: Blue Sweep (com.bluesweep.cleaner.android)
1. SUMMARY
Blue Sweep is a storage-cleaning utility. We designed it so that the sensitive part — your files — never leaves your device.
We do not upload your files, photos, videos, messages or documents. All scanning and deleting happens locally on your phone.
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number or location.
We do collect a device advertising identifier and basic device/usage data to show ads and to understand which features are used. Details in section 3.
2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
To be explicit, because a file-cleaning app has access to a lot:
The contents of your photos, videos, audio, documents or any other file.
The contents of your messages, contacts, call logs or calendar.
Your name, email address, postal address or phone number.
Your precise or approximate location.
Any account credentials.
When Blue Sweep scans your storage it reads only file metadata — name, size, type, path and modification date — so it can group files into categories and show you a list. This metadata is processed on your device and is not transmitted to us.
3. INFORMATION WE DO COLLECT
Google Advertising ID (GAID): used for serving and measuring ads; sent to ad networks (section 5) and our analytics endpoint.
A randomly generated install ID (UUID): used to distinguish installs in aggregate statistics; sent to our analytics endpoint.
Device model, manufacturer, and Android version: used to diagnose compatibility problems; sent to our analytics endpoint and Firebase.
App version and build type: used to diagnose version-specific problems; sent to our analytics endpoint and Firebase.
Feature usage events (for example, "junk scan started"): used to understand which features are used; sent to our analytics endpoint and Firebase.
The install ID is generated by the app and is not derived from any hardware identifier. It is reset if you uninstall and reinstall the app, or clear app data.
Data is sent over HTTPS to our analytics endpoint at rp.cabotgame.com and our configuration endpoint at api.cabotgame.com.
4. PERMISSIONS AND WHY THEY ARE NEEDED
All files access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE), and on older Android versions Read/Write storage — This is the core permission of the app. Without it Blue Sweep cannot see your storage and therefore cannot find junk files, large files, duplicate photos or screenshots, and cannot delete the items you select. It is used exclusively for the cleaning features you invoke. Nothing is deleted without you reviewing a list and confirming.
Remove packages (REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES) — Used only when you choose to uninstall an app from the App Manager screen. Android always shows its own confirmation dialog before an app is removed.
Internet / Network state (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) — Used to load ads, fetch remote configuration and send the analytics events described in section 3. Scanning and cleaning themselves work without a network connection.
5. THIRD-PARTY SDKS
Blue Sweep is free and supported by advertising. The following third parties may receive data — principally your advertising identifier and device information — under their own privacy policies:
Google AdMob / Play Services Ads — Advertising — https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Firebase Analytics — Usage analytics — https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — Consent management — https://policies.google.com/privacy
AppLovin (mediation) — Advertising — https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
Meta Audience Network / Facebook SDK — Advertising — https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
Mintegral (mediation) — Advertising — https://www.mintegral.com/en/privacy/
Pangle (mediation) — Advertising — https://www.pangleglobal.com/privacy
We do not control these SDKs' data practices. Please review their policies.
6. ADVERTISING AND YOUR CHOICES
Blue Sweep displays ads to remain free.
Consent. Where required by law (for example under GDPR in the EEA/UK), a consent form is presented before personalised advertising is enabled. You may decline; you will still see ads, but non-personalised ones.
Opting out of ad personalisation. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in Settings → Google → Ads on your device.
Withdrawing consent. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the app's data, which resets the stored consent state and re-presents the form.
7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Analytics events are retained in aggregate for up to 24 months and then deleted. The install ID and advertising ID are the only identifiers attached.
To request deletion of data associated with your device, email us at the address in section 11 with your advertising identifier. You can also delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android Settings.
8. CHILDREN
Blue Sweep is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Data described in section 3 may be processed on servers outside your country, including in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws. We use HTTPS in transit and limit collection to the fields listed above.
10. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or request portability. Because we do not hold account-linked personal data, we identify requests via your advertising identifier. Contact us at section 11 and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
We do not sell personal information.

We aim to respond within 30 days, and sooner where the law requires it.
